IMPRINTS

Ongoing photographic series

This project explores the traces a woman leaves behind. These traces remain in spaces, objects, and small signs of presence after a moment has passed. They exist in an interval: something has already happened, but has not yet completely disappeared.

In this suspended state, the traces become a form of waiting. They hold the space between presence and absence, between what has passed and what may still remain.

All photographs are presented as negative images. In photography, a negative exists before the final image appears. Here, the negative becomes a way of keeping the photographs unresolved. Not quite an ending, but a state before something becomes final. The traces remain suspended, neither fully present nor fully gone.

To see the photographs in their original colours, viewers can use Classic Invert mode on their phones. This simple action reverses the image, temporarily revealing what is hidden within the negative.
